We urgently need good quality, re-usable furniture and other household items, and domestic electrical appliances. We will collect free of charge exept electrical item (a small charge of £10 per item).

Cwmni Seren Cyf is enormously grateful to all our benefactors who have donated, and continue to donate items to our charitable cause. We rely on the generosity of people so that we can continue to provide a service to people in need of household items at affordable prices. Revenue generated from the sale of donated items is invested back into the organisation to help towards meeting Seren's overheads, particularly premises, vehicles and operational staff. Your donation will help to ensure that Seren recycling can survive and will continue to benefit the community and the environment....

To assist people who have not used our services before, these are some of our operating practices:-

* In order to comply with Health & Safety legislation, we are unable to accept upholstered items that do not carry a current fire retardant label attached by the manufacturer. If you are unsure about the label on your furniture, please call us for help.

* We are unable to accept mattresses that are stained.

* We aim to provide our customers with furniture and appliances that we would be happy to have in our own homes. Items must be in good condition or, if made from wood, are able to be repaired in our Carpentry Workshop.

* Electrical appliances should be in working order.

* When our Collection & Delivery Team visit your home, we always reserve the right to decline items that we don't think we will be able to re-use, but if we do think that we will be able to re-use them, we will take them there and then.

* We aim to respond to your call in the same week as you call. Details of our Collection & Delivery schedule can be found elsewhere on the web-site. Where possible, we will arrange a house call at a time that is convenient for you.
